This movie was not on my radar, at all, but I came across some posts about it on X, yesterday, and decided to check it out... *sarcasm* shocker: it didn’t disappoint - what a performance! With his depiction of the film’s protagonist, Divine G, Colman Domingo continues his streak of selecting roles that allow him to beautifully convey the complexities of being a flawed human being and draw an audience in to growing compassion for them. The entire cast does a great job bringing this lived experience to the screen and take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions.
