In the Beginning

When I first decided to get in shape it was after the New Year. I went to the local health supply store and looked at what could aid me in gaining muscle. I asked the clerk who worked there if she could assist  me. Being best friends with a fitness instructor, I had him put me on a regular exercise routine that I could do by myself. It consisted of running, lifting weights, and a few other exercises I could do in the privacy of my own home. I was on a 2000 calorie diet and exercised every day. When I went to the local health store, I wanted to get a more powerful muscle building supplement. I knew the brand I was taking had a more powerful product and I wanted to give it a try. The product was supposed to taste like vanilla – but it didn’t. Unless you added milk instead of water like it asked for, it tasted pretty plain. My Exercise Routine-How I Built the Muscle

Every morning I would wake up at around 4:45am and be out the door by 5am. I would run 3 miles, come back and start in with 100 sit-ups and 50 push-ups. I would eat a well-balanced breakfast and head out for work. At lunch, I ate light. I would normally eat just a sandwich and a bowl of soup or sometimes just two large fish sandwiches. I worked in the city so I tried to walk everywhere if possible. When I got home I would eat something light again and run another 1 ½ miles. I would come home and go straight to the weight bench and start lifting. I had several routines that I did religiously and kept up with each one. NO SLACKING ALLOWED! I have been doing this for about a year and I look better now at 40 years old than I did when I was 20. I have never felt better in my entire life.
